      2026 April Review

Located in the heart of Tsawwassen and just steps away from Winskill Park, our children enjoy opportunities to explore, create, discover, and learn every day. Whether planting garlic, engaging in sensory play, creating artwork, or enjoying outdoor adventures, every activity is designed to nurture confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

As a locally owned childcare centre, we are proud to be part of the Tsawwassen community and to build strong relationships with the families we serve.

      2026 March Review

in March, our class explored the theme of the Farm. The children learned about different parts of a farm, such as the barn, silo, and field, and discussed what each one is used for. We also talked about different farm animals, what they eat, and how farmers care for them.   As part of our learning, we discovered the important work farmers do in all four seasons. We also learned that there are many different kinds of farms, including farms that grow crops, raise cows, and raise chickens. In addition, the children were introduced to some common farm machines and tools and learned about their purposes on the farm.

      2026 Feb Review

In February, our children enjoyed many fun and creative activities through hands-on learning and play. They explored sensory play with play dough, practiced fine motor skills through cutting, rolling, coloring, and gluing, and expressed their creativity through art and craft activities. The children also enjoyed outdoor chalk play and learned about animals and different cultures through interactive experiences. Throughout the month, we focused on encouraging imagination, creativity, confidence, and joyful learning every day.

      2026 Jan Review

In January, the children explored the world through their five senses with engaging, hands-on activities. From making gingerbread-scented playdough and hot chocolate to decorating cookies, they built early math skills, coordination, and creativity through familiar, meaningful experiences. Sensory activities with different scents, tastes, and temperatures further supported their curiosity and descriptive language development. These joyful moments reflect a month of active learning, growing confidence, and rich sensory discovery.

      2025 Dec Review

In December, the children enjoyed hands-on sensory activities inspired by the season, including cooking experiences, creative projects, and simple Christmas traditions. Through exploring scents, tastes, textures, and temperatures, they developed curiosity, confidence, and early learning skills in a warm, supportive environment. These moments reflect their joyful engagement and growing independence throughout the month.

      2025 Nov Review

This month, the children learned how different animals survive the winter. Through books, felt stories, and outdoor observations, they discovered which animals migrate, which ones hibernate, and how others adapt to colder weather

      2025 Oct Review

2025 October, our class explored the wonderful season of Fall! We observed how the leaves changed colors and collected them for fun craft projects. The children were fascinated by the beauty of nature and loved using the colorful leaves in creative ways.  We also learned about harvest time and discovered how food grows — from tiny seeds to plants and trees! The children had the opportunity to observe and recognize different types of seeds such as apple seeds, sunflower seeds, maple tree seeds, pumpkin seeds, corn kernels, and acorns (oak tree seeds).🎃

      Sep Review

In September, we learned about hygiene and health through lots of fun, hands-on experiments! The children watched “germs” run away from soap in our pepper experiment, scrubbed off marker germs on gloves, and giggled at their glowing hands with our glow gel. We discovered how “sugar bugs” hurt our teeth with a cola-soaked egg, and a spray bottle showed us how sneezes can spread (inspired by the book Sick Simon). We wrapped up with healthy foods and fun exercise—the children loved sharing the healthy snacks they eat each day.

      August Recap

In August, we immersed ourselves in the fascinating world of marine life. Now, let these carefully captured moments from our August recap take us back to those wonderful times spent alongside the ocean’s creatures.

      July Recap

In July, our theme was Camping! We set up a real tent in the classroom and created our own camping site. The children enjoyed making s’mores, frozen yogurt, and lanterns, learned new camping words, went on a picnic, and expressed their creativity through fun art projects. It was an exciting month full of adventure, learning, and happy memories!
